BioWelcome to my asylum. If you're here, you probably know me or you're REALLY, REALLY bored. If you're here because you've surfed to my blog, I suggest you get a life. (No, not seriously. I'm sarcastically snarky, okay?) In any case, welcome.
About me: I like hockey, always have and always will. I played, now I officiate. I like guns, but I refuse to be a statistic. I'm not stupid with them, nor will I allow anyone else to be with a firearm I own. Deal with it. I have a crotch rocket of which I tend to be very fond. Material things are nice, but they're not everything. I have a great family that I wouldn't trade for all the money imaginable.
I think I'm boring, but other people tend to disagree. I won't take myself seriously at all, but any job I do, I do it 110%. My sense of humor is self-deprecating and, well, full of sarcasm and snark. I make fun of people I like. I love animals. I have quite a few of them, in various species. I have no favorite, other than all animals are equal to me.
I like people who are true to themselves and to others, those who are self sufficient and people who have their feet firmly planted on the ground. I hate fakeness, gossip, political correctness, backstabbing in general and very bad grammar. Please, if you write something, at least use proper English. Texting lingo drives me crazy and should be reserved for...nothing. I hate it. I hate politics of any kind, and politicians make my skin crawl. Still, I will discuss politics with people as long as they can be sane in agreeing to disagree.
I love to learn. I think the more I learn, the better off I am, even if it doesn't fall in my window of the world. I don't care if you agree or disagree with me, but do it with respect. If that sounds like something you can live with, great! If not, well, whatever.
I invite you to sit back and relax while you read what natural selection should have bred out generations ago. If I friend you, it's because I've seen something I liked on your journal. Don't feel any obligation to friend me back, but if you want to, I certainly wouldn't be opposed. In fact, it would be quite nice. If you friend me out of nowhere, I'll probably add you as well.
